Pirates of Borneo have a put out a call out to the brethren of the sea for crew members to enter this years Borneo International  Yacht pirates of borneo race from  Miri via Labuan to Kota Kinabalu. The commences on 9th October and the Pirates hope to be carry a wait some booty on the 15th October, to their lair at the Pirates Rib shack Diner at Asia city, where landlubbers can feast on the best steaks and ribs in town washed down by grog.

Natural Pain Relief and Home Business Success

You have to read this story about Tula Savisky. These testimonies just fire off my jets and launch me into another mission orbit. I love hearing how people are having life transformations with TriVita.

Sutera Harbour Marina -Tuesday Nights Fun Sailing

Visiting yacht crews and member of Sutera Harbour Marina and Golf club can enjoy fun racing on two Tuesdays a month. Initially the idea was based on yacht racing, however due to handicapping difficulties and the fact that many yachts would need to spend time re stowing equipment for a short race the racing take place in dinghies.

I happened to be around last Tuesday  and joined up with a dozen yachtsmen and yachtswomen to race in Optimist dinghies. There was a nice breeze and a few waves to make it interesting. At least 4 people had never sailed in an Optimist before and tow of these got into trouble before the start and had to be rescued.  A little embarrassing for blue water sailors , but yachts have automatic bilge pumps to keep the water at bay.

The wind and sea conditions contrived to thwart the race when the wing mark drifted away and the first three boat around the windward mark headed directly to the leeward mark, which was the only one in site at the time. The fourth boat saw the rescue boat towing the errant buoy and headed in the right direction taking the lead, leaving the former leaders to chase.

The wind gradually lightened so despite a valiant chase it was of no avail with a 4th place the highest they could climb.

Once the dinghies were stowed everyone gathered together for dinner in the Marina Bar, where prizes were awarded for the top three.

All in all a great evening, just have to do it again in a couple of weeks.

Some hundred plus pupils held a diner dance party at the New Pirates Rib shack Diner in Asia City on Saturday 20th June, easily fitting in the spacious open air surroundings, with live music  provided by resident musicians and augmented  by some of the staff and schoolmates with sketches, karaoke and dancing.

Do you Want To Make Money Online?

It may come as a surprise to you that to be successful online you need to treat your business as a business. There is no way to get rich quick despite the thousands of people who advertise that you can be earning $ thousands within a few weeks.

Working online is no different to working offline, you get paid for the work you put in and it will take 3- five years before you will be earning substantial money. The most important step is choosing a good business, what you are looking for is an established opportunity that has been around for about ten years, so that mean forget about all the pre launch specials which offer you the world and end up giving you nothing, they are no more than a lottery.

You will need to put time and effort into your business and like any business you will need to have money to get going, yes there are free opportunities, but you get nothing for free in this world, that is a fact of life.

What ever business you choose you will need to learn everything you can about it and how it works, and if you are joining an affiliate business make sure that you join under someone who is willing and able to help you, not someone who is just after your money.

I know you would all like to get a six figure income from working online, and yes you can, it will take between 5-10 years of work. If you have a normal job would you expect to be earning a six figure income in less than that time working full time? The answer of course is no, so don't get caught up in scams that promise you the earth and leave you empty handed.

A common mistake is to jump from one business opportunity to another and this can be disastrous because you will once again have to start at the bottom, it is far worse than a traditional job were generally your salary and conditions will increase when you change jobs. I was lucky to work for the same company for over 25 years and as a result retired with no debt and enough money to live on and am now building a second income.

The other thing you need to do with a home business is to continue to reinvest in yourself, learn more about the business, you can also build additional streams of income but make sure they are compatible and fit together in you life plan.

I have worked online for over ten years trying many ways of earning money and it is only in the last three years that I have started to earn an online income because I have discovered what I am good at. Along the way I have learnt many things, one of which is that for the first couple of years monthly income will be small and there is a temptation to question if you will ever make real money, but I now know that if you persevere you will.

One Interesting point I learnt this week is that 1 in 30 people you introduce into a business will understand the business and build a successful business of their own. So forget the idea of only finding 3-4 people, you need to raise your sights much higher.

Strategy number 1: Strength train – Most people think of performing cardio type exercise like walking, jogging or cycling rather than strength training to help in weight loss. Some people even on purpose keep off strength training while on a fare in fear that they will transform into even bulkier than they are already. wretched move.

The fact is, strength training accelerates fat loss and the reasons are twofold. First, muscle tissue increases your metabolic rate, which aids in the burning of fat as fuel. This not only helps to satisfy cravings, but it resets your Leptin levels tricking your remains out of going into starvation mode and speeding up your metabolism. Strategy number 3: Interval train – Most people select to lose weight next to performing incessant, moderately intense aerobic exercise in the so-called “fat burning zone” (60 to 80 percent of maximum heart rate). While the concept of a “fat burning zone” might sound good in theory, it is now outdated and old fashioned. Now, I’m going to share why many men who are desperate to lose weight fail. It’s either one or two things, some lose weight very fast through some form of trend diet, but later regain it. Or some fail to lose weight at all. In fact, some men including me got fatter while making an attempt to lose weight.

Here’s what occurs when you do not prepare your meals. If you under prepare your meals, then you’re going to eat foods for convenience. You see, when you do not plan your meals, once hunger kicks in, you can eat anything that’s around you including foods which will make you fat. But If you prepare previously, you will be in control and lose weight.

Do not keep foods in the house that will make it difficult to lose weight.

Remember that in order to lose weight you must plan out your meals. Go ahead and sit down for five mains every day to plan out the meals and snacks that you will need for the next day. If you stick with the meal plan exactly, you’ll lose weight fast.

This negative thinking is invariably the product of negative "programming" we picked up in childhood from parents, teachers, etc., but for many reasons, the unhealthy eating that results may not become a serious problem until we reach adulthood.

As you might guess, will power is a very ineffective tool for solving this problem, since our unconscious motivations are much more powerful and persistent than our conscious desire to "behave." That's why the only real solution to our unhealthy eating habits is to "find and fix" the toxic thinking that created our bad habits in the first place--and will keep on creating them until we solve our unhealthy eating problem at its root.

Of course, it's very important to have a healthy diet plan and exercise program. But neither of these things can bring us real and lasting weight loss IF our own hidden thoughts are still sabotaging us.

A good way to identify your "hidden" self-sabotaging thinking is to (1) notice when your are having an unhealthy eating event, (2) record the time, the place, the circumstances, what you actually ate, and as many related thoughts as you can, and (3) try to identify what it is in your thinking that both motivates you to eat unhealthily AND then allows you to "justify" your unhealthy eating.

That's just a first step, but it's an absolutely essential one. Do it for a few days, and I think you'll be surprised -- and maybe even shocked -- at what you discover.

Sometimes you are faced with a challenge when you are on a diet and desperate to lose weight, you have to eat out at a restaurant, perhaps its a business meeting or a must attend function, so here are some tips to assist you.

The first thing you need to do is use common sense. Here's a quick list of things that'll help you survive any restaurant.

  • Go for the chicken or fish.
  • Avoid fried food.
  • Unless it's veggies, salad, or fruit, skip the side dish.
  • Pasta? Avoid cream sauces and just eat half your portion.
  • No bread, except if you're having a sandwich. And get whole wheat.
  • Ask for the salad dressing on the side and use it sparingly.
If you do this, you'll probably find yourself with a remarkably stripped-down meal that'll be easy to judge. Here's how to do that.
  • Piece of meat = 2 protein portions.
  • Side of veggies or salad = 1 veggie portion per side dish.
  • Salad dressing can count as 1 condiment portion if you limit the serving to 2 tablespoons.
  • If you ignored my extra side dish advice, count that as 1 carb portion.
  • If there's any kind of sauce or marinade on your meat, add 1 condiment portion.
  • Add 1 fat portion. Restaurants are notorious for sneaking fat and sodium into food. That's why it tastes so good.
  • In the event that you are 100 percent, categorically certain that there's no hidden fat in your meal, skip step 5 and add 1 condiment portion, simply because I don't trust those restaurant guys. I'm certain they put something in there. Trust me. I'm paranoid so that you don't have to be.
So, for example, let's take Denny's Grilled Tilapia. Here's how they describe it on the menu: a mild, white fish filet seasoned and grilled, then placed on a bed of savoury vegetable rice pilaf. Served with your choice of two sides and dinner bread.

We have our fish, so that's 2 protein portions. The vegetable rice pilaf is 1 carb portion and 1 veggie portion. The corn and tomato slices are 1 veggie portion each. Let's call that 1 carb portion and 1 veggie portion. There doesn't seem to be a lot of fat going on here, so we'll skip the fat portion. However, the pilaf is savoury, which implies a sauce, so let's add 1 condiment portion.

Here's where we end up.

Fit Fare Grilled Tilapia with Rice Pilaf, Corn, and Tomato Slices Fit Fare Grilled Tilapia with Rice Pilaf, Corn, and Tomato Slices
3 veggie portions
2 protein portions
1 carb portion
1 condiment portion

The latest concept if you are desperate to lose weight fast is to firstly clean your system. It is by no means just simply to stretch your imagination but with some procedures it is pretty effective. If you are desperate to lose weight fast you will need to abstain from eating certain food items like breads, pastas, junk food and even some fruits. Yes, it may be a surprise that certain fruits need to be eliminated from your diet.

Most fruits contain a lot of sugar. The sugar is natural and usually quite good for you, that is, if you burn it off. However, if you can cut this source of sugar out of your diet, it will help you to lose weight fast. This means that you also want to cut other food items that have a lot of sugar including peas, corn and carrots. These foods items can however, be reintroduced sparingly later on.

Is there anything left to eat?

Yes, you might be wondering what on earth is there left for you to eat. Well, your lose weight fast diet has to be strict and will consists of mainly lean proteins, for example soy proteins. If you restrict your intake of food to 25 grams of soy protein each day and keep sugars at bay you will lose weight fast. To supplement this, you can consume lots of green leafy vegetables.

Taking plenty of Water and taking up exercises should be a regular part of your daily routine. If you can maintain just eating veggies and lean proteins for a week or two along with getting in at least 64 ounces of water and plenty of exercise you will definitely lose weight fast. This may not sound very appealing but it works extremely well if you want to shed excess pounds very quickly.
