AARP

Today the House of Representatives vote on the Economic Recovery Package and members of AARP wave been writing letters to their representatives to support the package, this was a typical letter

Dear [Decision Maker],

Please personalize your message As an AARP member, I urge you to pass the strong, comprehensive economic recovery package that will reach the House floor this week. This legislation would directly address the most immediate and day-to-day needs of the Americans who most need relief.

In particular, I am very pleased that the current legislation includes crucial funding for state health and long-term care programs, improvements in health care - such as health information technology, health care effectiveness research, and nurse and primary care training, affordable health insurance options for those who lost health coverage along with jobs; funding to help those who have lost employment; and needed money for the Social Security Administration.

Because older Americans have been particularly hard hit by the economic crisis, I urge you to support the House legislation to help with our economic recovery. I also urge that any final package also include a direct payment to the over 25 million individuals 65 and older who no longer work and cannot benefit from the worker tax credit, as well as stronger protections for home and community based services.

The gravity of the economic crisis requires urgent action - the House package will help provide much-needed relief to millions across the country.

I train on a regular basis mad I know that people struggle with weight loss. I see people on a daily basis, but most people go to the gym and just keep doing the same thing but don't get any results. This is the definition of insanity in my mind. why do the same thing over and over again if you are not improving your weight loss. This is much like working out. If you haven't lost weight in 2 to 4 weeks it time to try something new. Everyone is different, so you have to find what works for you. So, lets dive into some tips that will teach you how to achieve weight loss and keep it off for good.

Weight Loss Tip #1

Experiment. You need to find out what works for your body. If I do any kind of a leg workout they explode with growth. But, a friend of mine could work his legs for months and months and see nothing. So what you need to do is try everything and find what gives you the best results.

Try different weight lifting techniques, different cardio techniques, and so on….

Weight Loss Tip #2

This is similar to the first weight loss tip, but it involves your diet. If you want to learn how to lose weight, you need to learn how to diet correctly! First of all just make smart choices. The next step is experiment and see what works for you. Some people can always drink soda and lose weight while some may take a sip and gain 5 pounds.

Look at your diet, analyse it, and slowly tweak it to get the best results!

Weight Loss Tip #3

Now the very important question on every ones mind. "How do I keep weight off or in control"

This can be tough, because your body will adapt to what you are doing. You must always switch up your diets, workout routines, and the way you rest. It doesn't have to be hard, and what I recommend to do is just simply create 3 different programs to follow. You take program one and do it for 6 weeks, then go to number 2, then 3. After that start all over again.

This will allow your body to always be challenged with something new and never plateau.
